Pocket Waifu is a hybrid of a Tamagotchi and a Dating Sim game that is developed by [Just Nigamesce Things](https://wiki.jntgames.com/) and published by Nutaku. The game is focused around taking care of many women with diverse personalities. Each of them has their own preferences and quirks, but all of them are able to be befriended and romanced, eventually unlocking their sex scenes. Pocket Waifu has an overarching story that is presented through frequent events. Pocket Waifu's story is now complete, there are no further updates to the game or future events. However, new players can still enjoy the game and unlock clothing, stories, and art from past events by collecting Relics.
The world of Pocket Waifu features many characters with diverse personalities. Each of them has their own preferences and quirks, but all of them are able to be befriended and romanced.
Pocket Waifu is a Tamagotchi game first and foremost, so it plays like an ordinary Tamagotchi would - a selected girl has four stats, Happiness, Hunger, Cleanliness and Energy. By keeping those stats up, the player earns her Affection, which is necessary to progress in a relationship. The player can use to increase them, play Minigames or poke the girls to increase their happiness and give them gifts to increase their Affection. Collecting Mementos from Gacha increases the girls' relative stat maximums and gains.
Consumables are items that can be purchased in the shop and given to your girls to raise affection and increase stats.
Clothes are items that can be crafted using lust dust to give your girls something to wear. Clothing can also be found randomly in gachas, and every day a 50% lust dust special offer can be found in the shop for an unowned piece of clothing or furniture. It is advised not to buy all clothing as doing so will disable the mannequin (which appears if you place an unowned piece of clothing on a girl). When the mannequin is shown with unowned clothing on, exiting the clothing menu will undo any changes made to the outfit you were wearing when you opened the clothing menu; if you lose the mannequin you can no longer undo the new clothing placed on a girl (except by closing the game). Which is fine except if the girl was naked before changing her clothes, as becoming again naked can only be achieved by undoing via mannequin or being in a VIP period(you get one 3 day VIP period every month from the monthly task); otherwise a random top and bottom are placed on her.
Some of the clothing added later are limited in the poses that the girls can use while wearing those clothes.
Furniture are items that can be crafted using lust dust to change the appearance of your rooms. Currently, they are purely cosmetic. Furniture can also be found randomly in gachas and every day a 50% lust dust special offer is in the shop for an unowned piece of clothing or furniture.
The Garden is a place where crops can be grown to be used as Consumables. It is unlocked when the first three girls are at Friend (relationship level 3) or higher.
Special Flowers can also be grown to provide buffs, increase stats, or even be exchanged for two Mementos.
Minigames are played to increase your girls' happiness and to earn coins.
Each girl has her own favorite game that earns her bonus affection.
Gacha is where you can spend tickets to open boxes for a chance to get rare consumables, clothing, and furniture. Gachas are also one of the two ways to obtain Mementos. The second way to get Mementos would be Gardening special flowers.
Relics are obtained through normal gameplay and spent in the relic store to unlock old event content (Clothing, Stories, Scenes, and Waifus).
