Pocket Waifu has a number of different currencies to be earned and spent in order to progress in the story and build relationships with the women in the story.
¶ Coins
¶ Earning
Coins are earned by playing minigames with your waifus.
¶ Spending
Coins can be spent to boost planting crops, buying seeds, buying consumables, and buying Regular Gacha Tickets.
¶ Gacha Tickets
¶ Earning
Gacha Tickets can be earned through completing achievements and daily, weekly and monthly tasks. Regular Tickets can be purchased with coins and Favor Tickets can be purchased with gems.
¶ Spending
Gacha Tickets can be spent at the Gacha. A Regular Ticket will let you choose 1 prize from 3 boxes. A Favor Ticket will let you choose 3 prizes from 6 boxes. A Luxurious Ticket will let you choose 5 prizes from 9 boxes. The prizes can be clothing, furniture, lust dust, consumables, relics, or mementos.
¶ Gems
¶ Earning
Gems are the premium currency in Pocket Waifu and can be purchased for real money. However, there are ways to acquire them for free as well. Early on in the game, achievements will grant a large number of gems, but you will gradually run out of easy achievements to accomplish.
The only reoccuring way to earn gems is from the daily login awards, which grant 140 gems every 30 days, and completing the two weekly tasks for 50 gems each. This can earn you 540 gems every 30 days.
¶ Spending
Gems can be spent in all kinds of ways. One of the best uses is to buy special consumables for gems that are required to complete affection or special flower tasks. It is worth noting that some of these gem-based consumables can be found in gachas for free, or awarded through daily login prizes. Buying them with gems should be a last resort.
Beyond that, gems can be saved up to unlock event girls and their introductory scene. This is the best use of gems for most players.
¶ Lust Dust
¶ Earning
Lust Dust can be won from gacha tickets. Along with winning Lust Dust directly, anytime you draw clothing or furniture that you already own, it is replaced with lust dust instead.
¶ Spending
Lust Dust can be spent on boosting seeds when planting, for extra watering time or increased crop production. It can also be used to buy clothing or furniture from the store. Most often it will be used to grow special flowers in the garden.
It can also be exchanged in the currency shop for relics.
¶ Relics
¶ Earning
Relics are earned by completing just about any task in the game - playing minigames, giving gifts, eating, showering, waking up, etc. They can also be purchased in the currency store for either lust dust or gems.
The most reliable ways of getting relics are playing minigames, working in the garden, and using gacha tickets. Every garden action (planting, watering, or harvesting) is guaranteed to give relics. Gacha tickets also give relics for each gacha ticket used, and additional relics can be won from the Gacha as well. Playing minigames does not guarantee a relic, but they can be awarded frequently, and playing games for coins to buy gacha tickets will often net quite a few relics on its own.
¶ Spending
Relics are spent in the Relic Shop and can be used to acquire most event rewards from past events. This includes clothing, stories and scenes, and girls. Buying Stories and Scenes with relics is how you progress through most of the story of Pocket Waifu. They are available in chronological order in the Relic Shop.
